Vocal Intensive with James

This six-week session will run for an hour and a half and will be geared towards individual solo work. We will spend this session focusing on the work of three musical theatre performers. Students will receive an individual song assignment a week before class that they will learn. In addition, students will receive an accompaniment track and recorded version for them to sing along with for and to learn the song on their own. At the start of each unit there will be a small lesson on the composer we will be focusing on and then students will begin their individual work. We will spend two weeks on each performer/song and will utilize the tools that Zoom allows us to benefit from including score and text/lyric analysis! It is sure to be fun, fact-filled, and an immersive way to experience something new in a safe space!
