A New York native, Stephen began working in NY theatre as a production assistant (while still in High School) on such Off-Broadway shows as LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, BLUES IN THE NIGHT and STARMITES. Studying at NYU- Circle in the Square and Musical Theatre works he has been at home in both the worlds of plays and musicals. He is currently co-bookwriter for FOREVERMAN (with Brett Boles). He has developed new works with BMI, NAMT, NYMF, The York Theatre, Emerging Artists Theatre, Musical Theatre Works. His production of A CHORUS LINE at the Olney Theatre received the 2014 Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Resident Musical.
